This blog will serve as our weekly newsletter. We, as a 5th grade team, will update the newsletter weekly to include what your child will be learning, important dates, announcements, and more!

What We Are Learning this Week:

Student Work to Look at

Math: Ask which skills were in the math bracket finals and about the overall growth on performance

ELAR:   Ask about points your student has earned in STAAR Wars

Science: Study Science foldable and spiral notes

April 21st: Bad Weather Makeup (No School)

May 1st: Family Picnic 6:00-8:00 pm

May 16th: Field Day

May 20th: Passions Performance for School

May 21st: Passions Performance for Parents

May 22nd: Graduation

May 22nd: Lunch at Ole's 

May 22nd: Last Day of School

Family Friday Lunches:

Exciting news! Starting Friday, October 4, we will host 9 family lunches before winter break. Our top priority is the safety and enjoyment of all our students and families. Join us as we create a warm and welcoming space for everyone to savor these special moments together!

• Each Friday, there will be openings for 18 students per grade level to have 1-2 visitors.
• Visitors will be limited to 1-2 per student. This will allow family visitors to sit in a separate section where they can visit with their student.
• Guests can register for 2 lunches before winter break.
• To reserve a place, one family member will complete this form, state his/her name as well as the name of the second guest lunching with the student(s).
• Please note the date of your reservation. While we try to send emails to remind you, it is not always possible.
